  • From 2012 to 2015, worked as an IT Head. I was heading IT Infrastructure & Data Centre deptt. and handling a team of around 20 people including Architects, Sr. Managers, Managers, consultants and engineers. I am taking care of projects and services both for internal as well as external customers, which includes Colocation Services, Cloud setups, PKI setup, data centre operations, service desk, private cloud services and IT Infrastructure Management (O & M) services. As part of Cloud computing project, a new data center was built for providing various cloud computing services like IaaS, PaaS, SaaS etc.
  • As part of heading Cloud computing & Data Centre division, I was taking care of it end-to-end, like gathering project team, setting up infrastructure as well as processes, heading initiative technically & functionally etc. I was responsible for end-to-end for setting up of private cloud and running operations. I carried out technology evaluation and selection of compute, network and storage & cloud management part. Pricing, product management, PoC of various services, designing service offerings etc are taken care by me. Self service portal, chargeback, billing, BSS & OSS etc are designed and implemented. It also included activities like:

  • From 2008 to 2012, I was working with IBM, Pune, handling multiple global projects as Project Manager – IT Infrastructure, part of RIMS (Remote IT Infrastructure Management Services).
  • From 05.07.93 to 08.03.08, I was working with GNFC Ltd. , Ahmedabad / Bharuch. GNFC is a diversified organization in many fields viz Fertilizers, Chemicals as well as Information Technology. I was working as Manager – IT Services, working in IT Division of the company, looking after internal IT & PKI infrastructure (Data Centres) as well as external projects & services for customers.
  • I was heading a 25 members’ team of IT consultants, system & network administrators who maintain and administer IT setup as well as carry out external projects of customers and provide managed services.

  • During my tenure at IBM, I was handling RIMS – Remote IT Infrastructure Management Services, various Global IT Infrastructure projects for a very large global Industrial organization at IBM. I was working in Matrix environment, handling virtual teams.
